La Maison Francaise

The Oxford Trobadors will be performing again at La Maison Francaise on Thursday 28th May at 7pm. Their concert will include the medieval Occitan Trobadors: Arnaut Daniel, Bernard de Ventadour, Jaufe Rudel, and other early and modern songs. Booking (free of charge) is on the Maison Francaise at

The OXFORD TROBADORS are greatly appreciated by the modern Occitan speakers in the South of France for their authentic pronunciation of the language and have appeared in several Festivals of Occitan music and language, inclduing the famous Felibrijada, where they will be performing again this summer at Abjat in the Perigord on 4-5 July.
Places on the 28th May are limited by the size of the Hall at La Maison Francaise. So, book early. If you need to cancel later, email denis.noble@balliol.ox.ac.uk so that someone else can be fitted in.
